Delete your data

You can remove your comments and comment account from this site at any time. Here is how.

Delete it yourself

1. Go to any post with comments and sign in the same way you did to comment, whether that was email, Google, or Facebook.
2. To remove one comment, click the trash button on that comment.
3. To remove your whole account, open your profile from the comment area and go to Account, then Profile, then delete your account. This permanently removes your comments, your saved name, and your email from the comment system. A copy can remain in server backups for up to 30 days before those backups roll over.

Use the contact form and include the email address you commented with. Tell me you want your comment data deleted. I will remove your account and comments and reply to confirm. I aim to do this within a few days.

If you signed in with Facebook or Google, deleting your comment account here removes the data this site holds. It does not change anything inside your Facebook or Google account. To disconnect this site from those accounts, remove it in your Google or Facebook app settings.

Newsletter

The newsletter is separate from comments. Every newsletter email has an unsubscribe link at the bottom. Click it to be removed, or email me and I will do it.
